The List of Top 20+ Project Management Software

These days it is pretty much impossible not to have any project management software in a company. That is because the outcome of our project depends mostly on initial planning and team communication. Without it, mistakes may be made during the particular stages and the manager may not notice them because he or she won’t be able to monitor the progress of each step. What is more, many companies do not have an office – they are 100% web-based. And a team that works for such a company has to collaborate somehow – phone calls and emails are not sufficient enough, to efficiently work on a project. Team collaboration software or auto PM software is a must.

Hundreds or even thousands of businesses use time tracking project management software. They maximize the productivity, provide a more effective communication and track the progress of any task or project so that everyone in the team is up to date with even the slightest changes. Those tools offer a variety of features that every manager, as well as regular employee, will find indispensable.

The List of Top 20+ Project Management Software

13 thoughts on “The List of Top 20+ Project Management Software

  1. No doubt the tools above mentioned are pretty awesome but they have their own pros and cons. These pros and cons are being covered in new emerging task management tools such as TaskQue. I would recommend to give it a try.

  2. Hi Pawel,

You have put together a solid list of task management and project management tools for people to consider.

I know you wrote this article about a year ago now so if you do, do an update I thought I would let you know about Task Pigeon (https://www.taskpigeon.co). Full disclosure, I am the founder of Task Pigeon but when I couldn’t find a task management tool that worked just the way I wanted to I decided to build my own.

Since launching we have seen some solid growth which is hopefully an indication that other people agree.

    Talk soon

    Paul

  3. Everyone has a preference when it comes to project management software. Some like to use kanban boards, some like simple to-do lists. I recommend you to take a look at Hitask as it has improved our workflow more than any other tool you’ve specified.

  4. Amazing post you have shared with us and mention informative topics here. I could take a look at? It’s a very neat concept.

  5. After testing dozens of different tools I ended up with Proggio, a new tool that save me time and add great visuals for my project plan. Also, it’s free now for days.

  6. Wonderful article. I really think these blog help people to stay motivated…Though i really like your list and thanks for the information. Thank you for taking the time to provide a very detail post. You helped me with your helpful information doing my project work appreciate.

  7. Thanks for sharing this informative information. Project management is not rocket science, yet it often gets dressed up that way. At its foundation lies bedrock of basic organizational skills, which – come to think of it – might as well be rocket science the way some managers grapple with the concept. Now that we’ve laid out the ground-rules, it’s a lot easier to visualize what some of the benefits of project management are. I have put a list of the benefits of project management. Your personal mileage with these benefits may vary: Enhanced Customer Satisfaction, Enhanced Effectiveness in Delivering Services, Development Within your Team, Greater Standing and Competitive Edge, Better Flexibility, Increased Risk Assessment, Increase in Quantity, Increase in Quality.

  8. Hi Pawel,
This list is quite comprehensive! With people at the heart of your projects, the key to its success is how effectively teams collaborate. Project managers would certainly benefit from an accurate view of the right experience and skills.

  9. I liked all the project management software is features and pricing is given is one place. there is one more PM tool in the market, flexible project management, time and expense tracking, budgeting and work collaboration. Using Celoxis, businesses can get rid of multiple applications and spreadsheets to manage schedules, resources, budgets, approvals, risks, issues, change requests and other work items.

  10. The first seven projects are ok, at least, they may be familiar to the majority of people who deal with projects. But I never heard or saw none of the products that are below the green line that is absolutely surprising for me as I am engaged in PM. However, I would also recommend everyone to pay more attention to Gantt chart apps – I found them efficient in building, tracking, and planning projects. My top tool is GanttPRO. It is a powerful solution with the intuitive interface.
