The Magnificent 7 Time Tracking Apps for Android!

Android – a mobile operating system developed by Google, used primarily on smartphones and tablets, is probably the most popular software of this type in the world. Or perhaps having a constant competition for the first place with iOS from Apple.  But while Apple’s software is designed primarily for their flagship smartphone, iPhone, the Android system can be used on practically every phone on the market.

Let us provide some interesting statistics. Since 2013, it has been the best selling OS on tablets. In September 2015, Android had 1.4 billion monthly active devices, by May 2016, over 65 billion apps for Android were downloaded. About 75-80% of developers create applications for Android, and more than 40% of full-time professionals see this OS as their priority target platform.

People used to say that mobile devices will shine brightly in the future. Well, this future is now. And the mobile devices have never been so popular. The traffic they generate is much higher than this coming from regular, stationary devices. An average person spends 90 min a day on their phone and the trend is growing.

However, we are here for a different purpose. Sure, Android offers a lot of fun – the phone with this OS can be customized in various of interesting ways; there are apps and games on it that guarantee hours of entertainment. But, how can it help with work? Are there apps for Android that can enhance our productivity? Or help us organize our work? Boost our engagement? Sure there are! 7. Time tracking apps can have more functionality, too. Some are adept at handling multiple currencies, for example. Others have billing and invoicing tools built right into the app. Some offer expense tracking in addition to time tracking, letting you easily note supplies you buy, miles you drive, and other reimbursable expenses.
